Bloomington, MN – September 12, 2017 – NEWSCYCLE Solutions is pleased to announce that The Telegraph in London, U.K. has successfully migrated its editorial production system to the latest version of Newscycle’s content management platform.
The new Newscycle software is used to plan, write, produce, print and publish The Telegraph newspaper, supplements and magazines. It also interfaces with the various Telegraph publishing platforms, as well as the company’s advertising and production system. The Newscycle content management system features advanced planning functions for layout, ad placement and pagination.
This has been a significant undertaking for Newscycle and The Telegraph due to the size and the complexity of the installation.
With the completion of this project, The Telegraph has implemented a completely new editorial newsroom platform, including updated infrastructure and hosting facilities to support the current streamlined workflows. Another important part of the project has been to embrace processes and functions that were previously taken care of externally, but are now an integrated part of the content management system. The new setup facilitates very efficient use of resources.
